There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

The Aus/NZ 82 shows are weirdly underrated — they're much better than the Hong Kong/Japan dates IMO. Tops really swings, too.

Too bad how it all fell apart so quickly afterwards.

Weirdly enough i was just about to write something along those lines .. The Clash did sound on top form on this tour even Topper sounded great also thought Joe's voice sounded great too but obviously something went wrong between the March and May of 1982 as we hear on the Lochem Festival bootleg which i still have a soft spot for seeing as it was the first Clash bootleg i ever heard.

Great work as usual Marky ;)
Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, "life" has surface noise."

I'll keep it shut, though I probably don't need to. Looking forward to hearing, cheers Marky!

Cheers Marky. Came across CC by accident a few days ago. BTW i'm from the North where there are no soft lads. Except the one that does the weather on BBC Look North. And he's Welsh.

It was a dig at Heston and BitterTom who said the original mix was "weedy".
