On the EPK for BAD it states the first gig as being 20th October 1984.

My understanding has always been that the October gigs in France with U2 ("Mick Jones' New Band") were the first BAD public performances.

Interesting on that gig I posted as the 6th October 1984 the announcer at the end of the show says it's their first ever gig. Mick at one point during the gig does say thanks to the Alarm.TeddyB Not Logged In wrote: ↑31 Jan 2019, 12:22amMy understanding has always been that the October gigs in France with U2 ("Mick Jones' New Band") were the first BAD public performances.
It always struck me as funny how Joe with the Clash mk II slagged off The Alarm as "a pale imitation of the shadow of The Clash" and Mick went out as support slot.

Re: Marky Dread Remasters
This U2 page lists BAD as support for the first gig of their European tour, 18/10/84...
http://www.u2gigs.com/show803.html
Now we just need to find out when BAD suppoerted the Alarm. I feel like a bit of a trainspotter but would be nice to know when/where the first ever BAD gig was.

Re: Marky Dread Remasters
Looks like the Sheffield Leadmill gig took place on 1st October 1984, this could well be the first BAD gig as it's earlier than the support slots with U2...

No worries but I'm not making anymore until the dates are confirmed. Too bloody time consuming.Heston wrote: ↑31 Jan 2019, 12:50pmShit mate, I just realised it will fuck up your artwork.Marky Dread wrote: ↑31 Jan 2019, 12:47pmFuck it I give up!!!Heston wrote: ↑31 Jan 2019, 12:42pmLooks like the Sheffield Leadmill gig took place on 1st October 1984, this could well be the first BAD gig as it's earlier than the support slots with U2...
