That Hell W10 Snippet

Post by YoungParisians » 29 Jan 2019, 2:50pm

Is the Hell W10 instrumental snippet (heard on the home movie soundtrack of the same name) part of a more complete song? Seems like the *full version* would have surfaced/leaked by this point. And was that snippet part of the Rat Patrol/CR demo era or recorded in early 1983?

On the subject of Hell W10, didnt Mick initially provide a more hip hop oriented soundtrack (a la OBF) that got rejected? Any of these songs/snippets ever surface?

Welcome to the board.

I don't think we ever reached a conclusion on that snippet. I think there was some thought that it might have been something that eventually turned into E = MC2, but I might be remembering incorrectly.

There has been some in depth discussion and dissection of Hell W10 on here including the snippet you talk about. Have you tried searching it up on here?
Can’t remember how long ago it was so possible it was lost in the great crash.

Can someone post the audio or a pointer to where it plays in the film?

I just polished off some Low Country shrimp & grits and a mess of collards. That's a hell of a strain on the arm.

From memory (so unreliable source) wasn’t it on the menu page?

No, that was the instrumental of Cool Confusion (I think).
