You mean record the stream? I can do that. And all I require is one fresh dodo egg!

Re: Spotify Podcast - Stay Free : The Story of The Clash
I've listened to the available (six currently) episodes and it's a pretty fun time. Chuck provides some personal insights/anecdotes which is a nice touch. Most of the story is well known, but there are a few people who I haven't heard from in audio/video docs of the band. Simon Humphreys, Sandy Perlman, etc. Of course Bernie didn't want to be interviewed so they once again use that one rough audio interview with him.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

As doc is doing the honours of uploading I thought I would post up the artwork for folks to put in their iTunes just in case it's required. Not my artwork.

This artwork is fairly unique in how it front and centers Joe, when generally, their image was more egalitarian.Marky Dread wrote: ↑11 Apr 2019, 12:17pmAs doc is doing the honours of uploading I thought I would post up the artwork for folks to put in their iTunes just in case it's required. Good point. At the very least, Mick should be on equal footing with Joe, but this looks more like a No Doubt graphic or something.Wolter wrote: ↑11 Apr 2019, 4:23pmGood point. I'll put pound to penny that if Mick had any influence on that artwork that's exactly where he would've put Joe. He's fantastic to his friends memory.Kory wrote: ↑11 Apr 2019, 4:25pmAt the very least, Mick should be on equal footing with Joe, but this looks more like a No Doubt graphic or something.Wolter wrote: ↑11 Apr 2019, 4:23pmGood point.
