It's insane that Hitsville is currently in a tie for worst Clash song. INSANE.

There are only three legit choices: First Night, Cool Confusion, and Stop the World, all pretty weak b-sides.

Doubly agreed. Always loved it. Not a great choice for a single perhaps but a great song all the same. Would it have worked as a Strummer/Jones duet? Probably not!

It didn't really need to be a duet, Mick is just this kind of ghost voice in the background. I think a lead vocal by Joe or Mick would have been much preferable, though they would have had to change the key of the song.
