We thread drifted the shit out of that.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I'm getting quite used to the 'man-hating' brigade glomming onto the work of a collective of men (I experienced a similar thing with a 'Gender Study's Specialist' leading a Q&A on the film Alien, in Manchester.) At least TRB had the balls to get up & sing 'Glad To Be Gay' – back in the day; I put it to you, my naive Scottish friend, that if The Clash formed today they'd be shot down and relegated to the margins by entitled types like Amy Lame (not unlike the same conservative, Home Cunties idiots who censored The Clash back in the day.) #HandsOffMyCulture

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

I wish you'd get this vocal about class division and U.K. poverty (two subjects arguably more suited to a show on London Calling)

Shhhh—the person who keeps making homophobic comments wants to know why we're responding to comments about homophobia. Let 'em work that brainteaser out on their own.
