Jokes & threats of nakedness aside does anybody think it would be a good idea to have an IMCT collectors page?
I am a member of Clash City Collectors which is a fantastic site & is run by a couple of great guys - Robin & Patrick. The stuff on there is almost mind blowing. I was thinking of a smaller version of that isf anyone is interested? - Vinyl, CDs posters, tickets, badges/pins etc. The inspiration has come from JohnS who has a promo of SoSL. What are your thoughts please?

I think it is a good idea. I often see stuff I think people on here would want Aus / NZ issues etc. but don’t fit in my collection. If I knew someone was looking for it I would buy it for them.deny wrote: ↑05 Feb 2020, 5:58pmJokes & threats of nakedness aside does anybody think it would be a good idea to have an IMCT collectors page?

That sounds like a great idea & I'm up for it. There must be a win/win here!101Walterton wrote: ↑05 Feb 2020, 6:20pmI think it is a good idea. I would be interested to see peoples different collections plus know what people are looking for etc.. I know I’d be pretty happy to say the least if someone stumbled across one of the rarities I am hunting!!

Re: Spirit of St. Louis
That is such an awful video. I never cared much for Ellen's pop/rock voice on her debut 'Night Out'; much prefer her Euro chanteuse approach on 'Spirit of St. Louis'. But I will say this for her cover of "Stupid Girl": I think - despite the cheesy sax, it tops the Stones' original, which is pretty slight in comparison. And it's all down to Ian Hunter & Mick Ronsons production and Bob Clearmountain's mix - that massive NYC sound he had from the late '70s-early '80s. But it's really Ronson's guitar that makes it - just a couple chords, but his tone and attack are just ferocious.
