EET WEEK motion
Re: EET WEEK motion
So are we holding off on EET week until early June and doing the 76-78, etc. retrospectives?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

This sounds like fun!matedog wrote: ↑27 Apr 2020, 3:03pmI got an idea, I'll post some a show from each year 76-83 to youtube and we can listen at our leisure and comment. I'll do a dedicated thread. I haven't done a deep dive on boots in forever, so this might be a fun exercise. I'll steer clear of the well known shows and try to post stuff that's not on youtube already.

Re: EET WEEK motion
Every time I see the words "EET WEEK motion" I'm thinking about a dump I had in June 2012.

Not that we can count on it, but Zoom has been extending meeting times during the 'demic. I'm not sure if that's still going on.

This combines two things I love that I never thought about putting together.

Looks like everyone is supportive of this. Should we start next week with 76-78?
