Never seen this before. All footage for London Calling always cuts into radio clash pretty quickly. Then there was the lesser audio, one camera on Joe video of complete song but this has it fully. Cool stuff 👌

Good find. I think I've seen the complete LC footage before but not these angles.

That's all new to me too - cheers.
The 1983 Us Festival acts all had that live video screening and in recent years a lot of the full sets have been put on youtube, booted or I think even officially released - except for the Clash, naturally. I've only seen London Calling and Should I Stay before*. I wonder if it'll get taken down off youtube...

* EDIT - I'm a very forgetful idiot, I do have the show on a DVD-R but haven't watched it in years. I remember a longer / upgrade London Calling showed up a few years ago. I have that saved as a single mp4 file, and Should I Stay too.

Seems we cover so much ground on here over the years that we forget what we have seen and what we already own

I had a sneaking feeling I'd seen it but some of the camera angles seemed different. I was obviously wrong.

By the way, what a pretty crappy version of LC, Joe looked way off the game and some of those drum fills are quite bad.

Not the Clash's finest hour and Mick's final hour. When the video first emerged i think a lot of us where just glad to have a(almost) full gig to watch and also to see the band up on a big, big stage. On reflection, the band weren't firing at all despite flashes of brilliance, plus No Topper.
The crowd seem under-awed and the tension is clearly displayed. Disappointing now. And yet here we are nearly four decades on and still waiting for the definitive live gig.
