I believe that Andre Shapps was/is also a member of the Rotten Hill Gang with whom Mick and various others have performed with.
indeed, but he was far more than that
he was roadie for BAD
Became producer and remixer for BAD2 and join officialy as keyboard player for Big audio and after

Check his itw here mate
Thanks for this. I'll have a listen. I don't really know much about BAD2 and haven't heard a lot. I stopped following what they were doing after the original band split.

Latest lockdown project from me and bazarboy, a reimagining of the TRAC song Euroshima. As we know the quality is kinda rough on those demos, so thanks to Marky and Laxman for their help transcribing the lyrics.

Ahh you finally finished it. This is fucking fantastic guys. Great stuff with getting the track into shape. Love the samples and video.😎👍👌

Hey, nice one mate. Thanks again for the input from you and good old Laxman on the lyrics, Mick's vocal on the TRAC demo was very low in the mix.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

This track is now available to download with the original mix, Andre Shapps remix, and dub version. It was cool of Andre to get involved seeing as he was the producer/engineer on Kool Aid and the Globe. And he did the mix in Mick's studio apparently!

Just add the Ep on souncloud

Tracks can be downloaded individually

André seems to had lot's of fun with the track, it get a brand new MacBook Pro 16" to do it
He told Mick about the project who was delighted with the idea and very happy that André was working on sound again.
André must have sent him the Ep or will do it soon

Fantastic work on this. You must be super pleased to get Andre to work on the remix. The creativity on this board is very inspirational, maybe you could inspire Mick to revisit the TRAC material himself in the future.

Or find a pristine copy of the original tape in his attic. ;)
