I've listened to this every day and have no plans of stopping.
I was a latecomer to the The Clash (had no idea about them when I started listening to BAD) and I've probably only listened to CtC about 4 or 5 times in total, each time hoping it would get better and then angry at myself to thinking it would.

I've listened to this about 4 to 5 times in the last 3 days alone. I'm not going to stop either :)

Likewise I've also had this on repeat the last few days. Even one of my most disliked tracks, Cool Under Heat is now an enjoyable listen! Thank you again!

I listened to Dave Clark Five's greatest hits and it meshed perfectly with this. I think Joe was going back to his real roots with these songs, not his fake hippie squatter roots. There's more than a little Slade in there too. In other words, its fucking awesome.

Same here, had it blasting in the car today and it sounded great. Only Fingerpoppin' is irredeemable for me.

I don’t thing it’s irredeemable entirely. I don’t hate this version, which in and of itself is an achievement, because I’m pretty sure Fingerpoppin’ as released is the worst thing human minds have achieved.

I think the Flex version is still the definitive one.

I made a version sampling flex many moons back for an Eet Week comp. I assume it's what Kory is referring to.

The worst song performed by the worst person does have a beautiful symmetry.

I'm symmetrical

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Gotta agree, even after numerous listens, it still sounds great. Even Fingerpoppin' has improved so much. Brilliant idea to add those vocals in the chorus.
