If GEER and Cost of Living were one record...

Hnnnnnnng
Seriously though I understand Cost of Living was released later on but GEER is already such a powerhouse of a record. Imagine of those songs plus Pressure Drop were included.

I definitely think they could have used a couple of extra tracks on GEER, though I think they kept it short for audio quality purposes.

I think they all belong to LC as they were recorded at Wessex in '79.
However I can see how CR2 and IFtL fit with GEER as they heard the latter on the juke box at the Automatt. Also "Groovy Times" as "Groovy Times Are Here Again" was also recorded as a GEER track.
You could add Complete Control to the first album but it wouldn't be right.

1977 definitely should have been included. I vastly prefer capital radio II. The first one lacks the same power. The acoustic intro and the “drummer in the box office outro” are fucking class.

Yeah but not on the first album. That CR II was recorded in 1979. Now your getting into the disjointed US version of the album.
