Hello,

Elvis C. It's pretty funny imagining Elvis P. singing "Love comes in spurts, baby!".
Yeah, E.C. did a great version of it. Did Richard Hell ever play it with the Heartbreakers or Television? He played Blank Generation with every single musical group he was ever involved with.

The Buzzcocks are a great male first wave punk group that can sing about sex. Any others?
Does "Too Drunk to Fuck" count?
The thought of Jello Biafra having sex is even more disconcerting than the thought of Joe having sex.
His seven hours of verbal foreplay would kill arousal even in someone marinated in Spanish fly.

The very notion of Jello Biafra as a sexual being makes me hate the concept of sex entirely.

Hello,

I only saw Richard Hell once in Albany, NY. It was a pretty good show overall. He played Love Comes in Spurts but looked bored as he had to play it. Robert Quine was really good on guitar.

Just found out J9's coworker used to date Jello. I can ask about the sex if you want. Well probably not, she sent a bridge burning email announcing her retirement and brought up dating Jello in that email and eventually she started complaining about treatment of white people in the company.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Sounds like the sex broke her.

Take Off Your Pants and Jerkin
It took me a good few years to realise the album title, 'Take Off Your Pants and Jacket' is a pun. Only now am I secure enough to admit I was outsmarted by Blink 182. At least it wasn't Limp Bizkit getting the better of me.

A friend told me back in high school, a teacher insisted kids couldn't wear jackets class. His line was, "Jacket off," which all these guys into puberty found so funny someone always made sure to wear a jacket to class. I asked him whether the teacher was actually in on the joke—orchestrating it, even—but he said the guy was an old grump, so no.
