Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Yeah but 1978 was just around the corner.
Apparently Joe and Mick were fighting for who gets to wear the trench coat.

Great pictures guys. Something about Mick in the white outfit with red belt thingy makes me think he's headed off to Spain to run with the bulls.

This is a dumb question, but are you supposed to be erect or flaccid when flashing someone?

It's one of the many times that size does matter.

I've just listened to Remote Control on the Vanilla Tapes and no way is the drumming any better than Terry's. Topper is in metronome mode most of the time, whereas Terry has some tasty fills.

Regardless of who was or could have been the better drummer for their first album, I will say without a doubt the Vanilla version of Remote Control is the best ever, never really cared for the song until hearing this version. Not that it's a bad song, just wasn't as strong or catchy as the others on the album IMO.

Oh dear, I might have to search out that poll where I unexpectedly won. The album version is way better for me.

I never said I didn't like them, just that they weren't as good as KISS. I've got a review to hand in at the end of the week and we'll see where I stand with them. ;)
