Mick and Paul seemed to be having issues with their gear that night. That super crisp mix we heard on these 83 dates got super muddy. Maybe it was just the feed. Either way, thank you Bazar.

technical issue for sure.
After reworking the sound of the concert using a software that allows you to (more or less) separate the instrument tracks, I noticed that the sound and especially the bass fluctuates throughout the concert sometimes the bass sound cuts completely for several seconds while, since we have the video we can see Paul playing during this time ...
Same for the guitars the mix between the two fluctuates constantly sometimes joe is clearly ahead.
Who was behind the mixer that night?
Because The Clash tried to mess things up at the US festival, was there any sound sabotage during the concert?
Or is it the video mixing that has encountered problems?
Mystery....
