Lurking in the shadows just waiting to see what this is all about!
God, what a mess, on the ladder of success
Where you take one step and miss the whole first rung

Hello,

I've been doing that for years and I'm still not sure.

Don't worry, we'll try to help where we can.

Anybody else—is the IMCT CTC tribute album still uploaded anywhere? I can put it up if not, but it might be fun for some newcomers to check out.

Listening party sounds great, I've been absent here the last few weeks sorry but would love to be involved.
I think Gerald's CTC Reboot would be perfect for the listening party. The question is when. Any night this week is good for me except Friday and Saturday.
Same here except my bad days are Thursday and Saturday. Sunday is starting to look good and might be a nice cap for the whole thing if enough people are available.

Hi! New fan here- I was born after the band broke up but recently got really into them and have been listening to nothing else. I’ve never listened to anything from CTC though besides some of This Is England. Maybe this week is the perfect week to take that plunge
Trial by the hottest, most incoherent fire …

(Welcome!)
Thank you!

Jesus, it's been a while. I'm in the lab and I'm tempted.

Just burst out laughing at Vim's laconic and deadpan "to kick and scratch under Finnish weather", I forgot all about it.

The cosmic background radiation on Fingerpoppin' is quite ambiently comforting.

I truly believe Are You Ready on CTC, while not necessarily an "upgrade" over the live version, works better with the Bernie arrangement as a studio track. That live arrangement is pretty damn sparse, which works with an audience present, but I don't know how that would have translated in studio.

That said, if there was a soundboard of Hofstra 84, I could lay to rest many of my CTC "what ifs". The Are You Ready from that show is absolute heat. One of those 84 shows where Joe's 84/85 manic-ness actually works ("wrong number!).

Also Joe, it's one of the infamous "Joe's white sport coat" shows, so he must have looked a little nuts up there 😂
