I like this "live" vid of the Heaven 17 song better.

edit: Better than the last vid I posted, that is. I like Gerald's PTW more.

Another in the "close enough" category:
"I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey-strong bowels were girded with strength, like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo dung." - Richard Nixon, Checkers Speech, abandoned early draft

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

How many songs can we get using the titles of CTC songs, but a different song by a different band?

And is it better than the Clash version?

Man, that is not a song I would have listened to had it not had a shared title with a Cut the Crap deep cut.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I just heard it for the first time yesterday when I went looking for songs called Play to Win. Hadn’t even heard of Heaven 17 before. I’ve played it several times since then and I like it, very catchy song.

I remember it well from the time. My sister was a big fan and still is.

Jesus, what happened to them after Back In Black? Horrific.
They morphed into an ACDC parody band by the mid 80s.
Yeah, it's bad, but entertainingly so. It's basically the Jim Breuer ACDC impersonation:

Yeah, fuck, i wouldn't have listened to them for 35 years or so but of the new wave/synth bands of that time, I thought they were far from the worst. Only had the first album Penthouse and Pavement but listened to it quite a bit. Visage were another decent band around that time.

Yeah, I had no idea Breuer could be really funny.
