Post by bazarboy75 »

Don't have much info for now
but a documentary about Topper is on it way

Image

The guys involved are the ones who produced few years back "Rock 'n roll of corse" about Henri Padovani who played in the early days of Police and who is still a very close friend to Topper

Stay tuned !

Very cool, I'm glad Tops had gotten healthy and looks better than Paul or Mick!

Not a bet anyone would take as late as, like, 20 years ago.

Good point, just started to think about it and he really does look much better than the other two. Amazing things can happen when you clean up your lifestyle, the very fact that he's still alive and is around to tell the tales is in its self a miracle.

Happy that Topper is healthy but I've seen this written before and honestly not sure why these comparisons need to be made or why we should be looking at things this way at all? No offense intended but would be nice to praise Topper without seemingly taking a shot at Mick and Paul.

No offense taken at all, I think you make a very good point.

I personally won't be satisfied until this website is 91% gratuitous attacks on the appearance of Mick Jones and Paul Simonon.

An exceptionally cruel caricature of the modern day Jones. I approve.

Can we rank the current hotness of Clash members?
1. Topper
2. Paul
3. Mick
4. Terry
...
5. Joe
6. Keith Levene
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

That Vince threatened my life makes him irresistibly hot!
