Thanks appleseed. I just downloaded the show from Dime. Here’s a mega link if anyone’s interested.
A few missing tracks apparently, but sound quality is very good to my ears.

Good work fellas. Rather odd choice for set opener i would say, maybe the missing tracks were from the beginning.

This is the most complete setlist I can find for this date (on setlist.fm) from a brief search:Low Down Low wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 3:14amGood work fellas. Rather odd choice for set opener i would say, maybe the missing tracks were from the beginning.

12. Safe European Home
13. We Are the Clash
14. The Guns of Brixton
15. Brand New Cadillac
Seems like at least the last 4 songs (12-15) are missing from the Dime upload. Someone commented on setlist.fm that they played London Calling too. Wouldn't be surprised if that was the opener. Just checked blackmarketclash.co.uk and it mentions another 7 songs or so that are unknown/missing from the beginning of the setlist. BMC also gives a downloadable pre-show KNAC FM 105.5 Long Beach CA radio interview with Joe that is 16+ minutes in length and a fun listen. Looks like this was the 3rd or 4th ever date for Clash II, and maybe the 2nd known recorded show.

Yeah, looking at the shows around it, with available setlists, SMR would appear to be generally between 5 and 7 on the list so i think it's safe to assume LC is one of the missing tracks.Kimmelweck wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 4:44amThis is the most complete setlist I can find for this date (on setlist.fm) from a brief search:Low Down Low wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 3:14amGood work fellas. Funny how the mind plays tricks, though. I was nearly certain SMR had been dropped after a couple of early outings but after checking, I see it was pretty much a staple for most of the year. I think that's likely down to thinking it's just not very good.

Any word on how this compares to the boot in circulation?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Just gave it a spin, sounds the same to my ears but always good to get fresh uploads.

So what did McLaren have to do with this? Did he perform?

I read a review for the show (think it was on setlist.fm), and someone mentioned that he played "that stupid Buffalo Gals song", so apparently yes, he performed.

Yeah, in hindsight, it must be the same as what we already have. I didn’t have a copy handy on my hard drive to compare and the megalist link is dead so I couldn’t do a quick comparison by file size, but you’re right. Sorry for any confusion.
Young ladies, pill poppers, flip floppers, and tank toppers (ok, hip hoppers too, why not) can at least download it here if they don’t have it already.
