Definitive Clash Playlist Article

I found it surprising that a mainstream website such as Yardbarker would be able to put together a list of what I consider some pretty non-radio Clash songs such as "(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais", "Career Opportunities" & "Pressure Drop". I mean everybody expects "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" & "Train In Vain", but "Death Or Glory"? Very surprised.

No ranking will ever satisfy everyone, they are completely useless. A try putting all the Clash songs in a folder and then playing them with the shuffle option, you will re-evaluate many songs ;)

I completely agree. I think you'd be hard pressed to rank all the Clash songs in any particular order and have everyone agree on the list. My own list in my head changes depending on my mood and what other music I've been listening to at the time.

I personally wouldn't agree with quite a few selections on that list but White Man is hardly co controversial, no? It's the one, alongside London Calling, that tends to invariably rank very high among hardcore and casual fans alike.

A nice list. I support anything that gets people listening to The Clash.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Corner Soul is such a great song. Has always been in my Clash top 10, and probably my fave Joe vocal.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board
