Hello guys, is there any evidence, that the name of the song Galleani is correct? The lyrics, quite hard to make out, show no connection to the italian anarchist. Babylonia would be a mire appropriate name.
Where does the title Galleani come from? Any clues anybody?

Re: Galleani
Not able to help on specific question, but it is extremely uncharacteristic of Strummer to mention a specific political thinker and, considering his soft-socialist/liberal perspective, even less likely that he'd mention an anarchist.

I got the titles for "Galleani" and "National Powder" from Nick. He'd told our man Ralph about Galleani some thirty years ago.
