2CD’s. Not live. A separate single of interest not included to also be released. Can’t say more…

This just made my Monday so much better

On a scale from 0(=hooray a new scrapbook) to 10(=holy grail), how excited should we be?

The Rat Patrol acetate stuff I put on YouTube last year is starting to get zapped by Sony. I assume it's a purge in advance of the real deal coming out.

Also, things beginning to stir on FB. The official Clash page have posted a current pic of the album cover location, and also the map coordinates for The People's Hall in Frestonia where some of the album was demoed and recorded.

The second CD is entitled “The People’s Hall”, though not all tracks were recorded there. There’s also a cool piece about the history of Frestonia in the booklet.

More than zero. Less than ten.

Cool cool. Per what we've gathered on the Sessionography (which could very well be not super accurate) the CR sessions are basically:
April
Studio – Marcus Music, Kensington Gardens Square, London
Tracks
This is Radio Clash
Car Jamming
Sean Flynn

September
Studio – Ear Studios, The People's Hall, Frestonia, London
Tracks
Overpowered by Funk
Long Time Jerk
Midnight to Stevens (1981-09-17)
Should I Stay Or Should I Go
First Night Back in London
Know Your Rights
Inoculated City
Ghetto Defendant

Mid-November- late December
Studio - Electric Lady
Tracks
Atom Tan
Cool Confusion
Straight to Hell
Red Angel Dragnet
Idle in Kangaroo Court
Beautiful People Are Ugly Too
Rock the Casbah

Not including the GJ overdub sessions. I'm curious as to what is unheard/un-leaked. Even if nothing new to us, an official Rat Patrol release (even if it's not in name) will be worthwhile.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Teddy's assessment that we should be less excited than 10 on a scale of 1–10 suggests pretty strongly that we won't be getting that.
