Here I am sitting all alone
About a million miles from my home yay
Yes I met a man who said trust in me
And I'll take you away from your poverty
To me and my friend who had a song to sing
To come from our homes because we believed in him
You see we thought life was bad just because we were poor
So we came to seek to our fortune on this golden shore yeah-yay
And I'm all washed up
So confused
I Lost everything
What else is there to lose
I'm all washed up
So confused
I Lost everything
What else is there to lose
Here I am sitting all alone
But somehow I know that I've got to go home
'Cause all I can do is watch you walk away
I know that some day I'll make it on my own yay-yay-yay
I used to be happy in the place I was born
But now I'm going 'round in circles in a far off land yeah-yay
Ooh I used to be happy in the place I was born
But now I'm going 'round in circles in a far off land yeah-yay-yay
And I'm all washed up
So confused
I Lost everything
What else is there to lose
I'm all washed up
So confused
I Lost everything
What else is there to lose
I'm all washed up
So confused
I Lost everything
What else is there to lose
I'm all washed up
So confused

What else is there to lose
I'm all washed up
So confused

I'm all washed up
So confused

What else is there to lose
I'm all washed up...
There are two versions of "All Washed Up" on the "Ladies and Gentlemen The Fabulous Stains" soundtrack. The one with Jones/Simonon/Cook called the "Rock" version and a second version with just Barry Ford and a Piano called the "Reggae" version.
On the soundtrack Barry Ford is known as Lawn Boy.

I had to look this one up. I've been aware of the movie for years but never have tracked it down. I'm going to remedy that now. You'd think I'd have done it by now as much as I love The Professionals ....

Re: ALL WASHED UP
Thank you so much for the lyric Marky Dread, i love the song All Washed Up. I suspected the song was played by the Looters, the problem is that i didn't find the details about the song, maybe who has got the record (Ladies & Gentlemen.....) can verify, but i don't have the fortune to have it. By the way the song has the same sound of musical repertoire of the Looters....Thanks againMarky Dread wrote: ↑23 Apr 2022, 5:42amBarry Ford - Vocals/Guitar

Re: ALL WASHED UP
I was bummed that the soundtrack CD wasn't released, but did get the DVD (now OOP) on release day. The soundtrack MP3s were available on Amazon for about a day before being pulled. I burned the MP3s to CD-R and gave a copy to Steve Jones in April 2010 and another to Paul Simonon in October 2010.Marky Dread wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 4:19pmYes in 2008 as a download by Rhino Records a cdr and a test pressing exists.

Re: ALL WASHED UP
Yeah bit of a missed opportunity but I only rate The Looters and the Lawn Boy (Barry Ford) track above as being any good. The rest of the soundtrack isn't up to much. The Looters tracks are on The Professionals complete. Looks like they overlooked the Barry Ford track. Plus it missed an alternate version of The Professionals "All the Way".BR16ADE_R055E wrote: ↑25 Apr 2022, 6:35pmI was bummed that the soundtrack CD wasn't released, but did get the DVD (now OOP) on release day.
