Seems to be somewhere in the £1-1.5m bracket though i think the below example is for an mbe so you might have to add a further 50% for the obe or thereabouts.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 9:18amHow much would it cost to get him an OBE?Heston wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 9:04amI'd get right behind that but he probably hasn't got the right letters after his name.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 7:23amTurn Marky loose on their archives. You'll not be at all surprised to learn that Boris Johnson is a huge lifelong clash fan so I'd fancy some class of discount could be arranged.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 9:59amShit, sorry, Marky, we’ll have to be budget conscious and go for the MBE. I'd rather just get the geezer who played Joe in that crap London Town film than even have to think about that shit tbh. It's already being done though, right?oliver wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 10:27amHow advanced is that hologram technology?Low Down Low wrote: ↑28 Jun 2022, 4:14pmPlus, the only way they'd get to be a main stage headliner at Glastonbury would be to have Bruce or some other mega star stand in for Joe.

I’d bet a year’s worth of Olaf’s stickenflavourbars that he can’t name even one non-single.Low Down Low wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 10:45amYou'll not be at all surprised to learn that Boris Johnson is a huge lifelong clash fan so I'd fancy some class of discount could be arranged.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 9:59amShit, sorry, Marky, we’ll have to be budget conscious and go for the MBE. I'd up the ante and say 2 years worth of Olafs stickenflavourbars to name 2 actual singles. If the uk had a functioning opposition, that would be the lead in the next edition of prime minister's questions, but we'll probably just get the usual flim flam about war and the cost of living.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 10:52amI’d bet a year’s worth of Olaf’s stickenflavourbars that he can’t name even one non-single.Low Down Low wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 10:45amYou'll not be at all surprised to learn that Boris Johnson is a huge lifelong clash fan so I'd fancy some class of discount could be arranged.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑29 Jun 2022, 9:59amShit, sorry, Marky, we’ll have to be budget conscious and go for the MBE. MacCartney's been duetting with that giant video Lennon (something John would find very funny, I'm sure) on this tour. I guess that's the best way of a Clash reunion, but I still wouldn't want it.

I was only half joking when i said Johnson was, or claims to be, a huge clash fan. I dimly recall the fucker bragging once about Joe sending him a letter when he was employed by the Daily Telegraph and another typically hilarious story about him punching his sister in the face during an argument over the clash. But, yeah, every band has fans who are 24 carat cunts.

Remember David Cameron's love of Eton Rifles, that is beyond irony.

I enjoyed the absurdity of Johnny Marr publicly prohibiting Cameron from liking "This Charming Man."
