Marky, out of interest, are you remixing using the extraction software that separates the the vocals etc?
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

That's correct. I made new stems for every track apart from the live tracks which I remixed from scratch. A lot of work.

Did you excise the kiddy tracks? You bastard, that's the best part! :shifty:

Seriously, tho, I think this is the last piece to replace all the official releases now. Take a bow, drink in the applause.

Maria Gallagher singing "The Guns of Brixton" is an extra unlisted track on the "Bankrobber" 12". Luke, Ben and Maria Gallagher can also be heard sampled on the track "Shepherds Delight" on the Mikey Dread comp.

The only tracks not included are "Career Opportunities" kids version and the original version of "Mensforth Hill" which is substituted by a new mix I made called "Something About Dub" also on the Mikey comp.

So up yer bum! And thanks.😎

Holy fuckin' smokes, Marky. This is a treat indeed. I love the structure of the set. Very fun. It'll take a while to sift through everything - as any good box should - but this is going to be a special treasure. Thanks so much for this, and for being such a good steward of the Clash's legacy.

Well … okay then. We expect some kind of 75 minute kids CO megamix at some point, just to show us (a) you can do it and (b) there's no such thing as a free lunch. ;)

Wow, you are truly remarkable Marky, thank you - the Clash and Strummer legacy is sadly from official recent and upcoming releases not in good hands but we can always rely on you to keep the flame alive - more power to your elbow!

Hi Marky, this is truly magnificent. Thanks for your incredible time and effort on this. Even Laxboy seems to like it, which is unusual for anything that isn't the Gorillaz!

Is the Bankrobber photo of Joe's dad?
