I tuned in a few times yesterday. Heard the Equals POMB and a cool cover of Spanish Bombs I had never heard. Seems like an inspired program.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Just make sure to skip the interview sections if Cheryl Waters is hosting "Live at KEXP" on Youtube. She's awful at interviewing.

They played some interesting covers of Clash songs that I have never heard before. I also enjoyed the Don Letts interview. Some filler, but overall a fun day dedicated to the Clash on KEXP.
