They play a cool version of Brixton too
Very nice version.
Why couldn't he have sang it like that with The Clash instead of those bellowed live versions.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Cheers plexi, look forward to listening to that later. Sounds really interesting from the couple of bits I've heard, that GOB is great.

MP3 of GOB, my converter wouldn't let me edit it down for some reason? If someone could trim this it would be great!

I'm calling it, I'm going to be obsessed with this album this summer.

Best so far for me and by a considerable distance. The first that's really grabbed me tbh
I like this one too.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense . If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

This album is really very good. Honestly hadn't known what to expect initially, but it's packed with good tunes and delightful arrangements. Paul is well up to it on the vocal front, too.

Might not have been able to hear himself well enough on stage. Maybe just adrenaline.
