Holy smokes, thanks Marky! This is CR as it should be presented. Fuck the record labels with a rusty screwdriver, this is the real deal. Love the sequencing just from looking at the artwork.

Quick questions: am I forgetting that CR was mixed to mono for an official release or is this a special Marky Dread mix?

There's a note in the file saying it was made specifically for this set. The Monaural mixes remove a layer of synthesized sounds and gives more power to the guitar. They sound great in my opinion. And it's another way to listen.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Well I’m voting to put marky in charge of the band’s legacy and give him full access to the archives.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I’ve said that many times. His care and attention to detail kicks the shit out of not just the Clash’ but most bands’ legacy work.

I second that! Sony will never attempt a project this extensive because they know theirs would never measure up to Marky’s!

Resuming Live Transmission
Capitol Air was spelt wrong on this artwork.

Here's a link to the corrected one.

This full immersion into the Combat Rock era will surely erase the great disappointment for the release of Combat Rock + The People's Hall. Thank you, excellent project as always.

I have only one word:
A M A Z I N G
Incredible labour of love, wonderful artwork and I’m sure the audio quality it will be extraordinary as usual.
I’m seeing you did a remaster of Up and Et Em also and it’s like to come back in past at that incredible period when I was waiting their next album after Sandinista and i found in a shop this crazy bootleg.
Thanks Marky, i can listen “Once you know” finally!!
I missed 'Up and At 'em,' anybody know a link?
