I apprecciate it, by the way i prefer the album Version. I can't miss the wall of guitar with the gain on Max that i can only hear on Cut the Crap.
Of Course i'm disappointed about the album, by the way i'm among those Clash fans who don't think Cut the Crap is ugly

Very good work. It can be interesting to do the same on Dictator and Are You Ready For War.
Anyway thanks to have shared with us this interesting experiment

Nice job. Some vocals from the end also from the demo I think.

yeah, the album ends on a fade out and the demo ends on a crash (for lack of a better term). I like the demo ending more and because joe doesnt say this is england in the album version i just slapped the demo vocals on the end. shame really...

No it sounds great. What software did you use for the separation?

This is a great effort. Always loved this song but hated the production. Nice one.

From the Jamaica boot. I saw that artwork on another site a few days back. Are you planning on remixing the full gig? The problem is not the sound of the show which has always been very good but the lack of atmosphere due to the band going on stage in the early hours of the morning.

I used this live song on the London Calling box set I put together. No I won't be re-upping it. ;)

Depends if people want to hear it... as i split the song into instruments then change the eq, vol and LR stereo (Like moving micks guitar to more of the left channel). I really like the bootleg and by remastering it I didn't mean it originally sounded bad, I was going for the FHTE sound (if you get what i mean). Thanks for the feedback!

What you've done sounds really good to me. But it's always been one of the best sounding bootlegs that simply lacks any real crowd atmosphere. If you have the time and patience then yeah it'll be good to hear the whole gig. From memory and I haven't played it in a while I think the final track I Fought the Law has a weird anomaly where the drums at the start sound as if they are double tracked.

Addendum:
I would also add I think it's excellent that a young fan like you is putting in the effort to improve stuff. I think it's fair to say without a doubt that I've reworked more of these bootlegs than anybody over the years. So I know just how much effort goes into them. I only wish that some of the new tech was available previously as I have had to work with some really horrible sounding shows through the years. The curse of live Clash being when the band were at their best the recording sounds crap and when they are being recorded well they have an off night. So best of luck mate.
