I think you're referring to the one published by Tymon Dogg in his Battle of Wills

Full version? Do you mean an official version.

What is incomprehensible about my desire? Tymon Dogg himself explains it. I wish it was released (officially obviously) in the full version, it's a song that I consider fantastic.

Re: Whats left?
The version I believe Tymon is referring to is the 5 minute version that appears in his Battle of Wills.
Check my previous post.
By the way, this reissue of his album is from 2023. If an eight-minute version had existed, I think he would definitely have included it in this new edition.

Yep I agree a great track and very emotive. I thought you meant the long version being given an official release. It would've been a great addition to the combat Rock/People's Hall release.

Re: Whats left?
I've gor Tymon's new cd on order. The lead off track is excellent. And it's great to see Richard Dudanski is in drums.

Yeah that very hard to find now. I have a download of it somewhere but in poor quality. I hope it gets a reissue.Stefano1972 wrote: ↑06 Mar 2024, 3:37pmI’m ordering it me too now.Marky Dread wrote: ↑06 Mar 2024, 2:01pmI've gor Tymon's new cd on order. The lead off track is excellent. Agreed, that would have been cool. Would have improved the package greatly.Marky Dread wrote: ↑06 Mar 2024, 1:33pmYep I agree a great track and very emotive. Who pfaffed the pfaff? Who got pfaffed tonight?
Re: Whats left?
That version has nothing to do with the Clash. I'm fairly positive it's not what he's referring to.Stefano1972 wrote: ↑06 Mar 2024, 12:45pmThe version I believe Tymon is referring to is the 5 minute version that appears in his Battle of Wills.

Maybe you're right, the names of the musicians I read who collaborated on Battle of Wills areOlaf wrote: ↑06 Mar 2024, 5:17pmThat version has nothing to do with the Clash. Check my previous post.
Tymon Dogg - vocals, violin, harmonica and organ
Liam Genockey - drums and percussion
Chick McLaughin- skeleton drum kit
Dawson Miller - percussion and tube
Mishra - tabla
I was misled by the fact that this song was present in the documentary DVD "The rise and fall of the Clash".
But, at this point I wonder why this eight-minute version recorded with the Clash was not released neither on "The People's Hall" nor on the reissue of Tymon's album.
They were both excellent opportunities that would have made the two reissues (especially "The People's Hall") much more interesting.
I wouldn't want this 8 minute version of "Once you know" to be some kind of urban legend, like that of a mysterious 1983 album by Joe and Tymon, produced by Glyn Johns but never released.

Re: Whats left?
"Hollowed Out" was supposed to be getting a release via "Proper Music" a while back. Don't know if it's still on the release list.Stefano1972 wrote: ↑07 Mar 2024, 7:57amMaybe you're right, the names of the musicians I read who collaborated on Battle of Wills areOlaf wrote: ↑06 Mar 2024, 5:17pmThat version has nothing to do with the Clash. This track was written by Joe Strummer for Tymon's "Made of Light" album.
