I'm not sure how comfortable I am with the two exclamation points.eumaas wrote:i'll be gargling scotch in your honor!!
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

My personal believe is that multiple punctuation marks of the same type must be an odd number.matedog wrote:I'm not sure how comfortable I am with the two exclamation points.eumaas wrote:i'll be gargling scotch in your honor!!

Yes, 1 or 3 exclamation marks/points just like 3 ellipses ("..."). I think the use of 2 exclamation marks is a Japanese thing.Wolter wrote:My personal believe is that multiple punctuation marks of the same type must be an odd number.matedog wrote:I'm not sure how comfortable I am with the two exclamation points.eumaas wrote:i'll be gargling scotch in your honor!!
