Ah good spot mate. I've never seen Candy Mountain.

So assumed it was from this.

I know that this pic pop fews month ago and led to speculation as to where it came from, but I don't remember the answer if there was one
Where does this photo come from?

Looks faked to me. Where's Paul's leg gone.

I remember spending an inordinate amount of time trying to figure this out but I don’t think we ever did.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Didn't we mention something regards Paul's lapel badge as seen in other photos.

Presumably from the same show:

How long did he have the 1st of May/Holiday lettering? Just the Roxy/Fridays shows of April 1980? It's not from Fridays so maybe the Roxy show? Do we have more photos from it?

*edit* BMC has a ton of pics from the Roxy show but those don't seem to match up either.

I emailed the photographer from the Roxy show to see if they are hers. Let's see if she responds!
Here's where we discussed this last time: https://clashcity.com/boards/viewtopic. ... 63#p673163

It's not "1st of May". It's "I May Take a Holiday".

The "ST" is harder to see, but that's definitely a "1" not an "I." Makes sense given the timeframe too since these shows were at the end of April.

Obviously not fake just blurry. It's simply from whatever 1980 post american tour gig where Mick has the ugly white suit gimmick
