I never really take these kind of sites as trustworthy, but I noticed that someone put up a pretty complete set on setlist.fm for the last Sydney show during the residency there. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-clas ... db2ee.html

A huge chance it could just be bullshit, or there could be some person out there with either a good memory, or a possible tape is out there. The set mostly fits what they were playing around there, although it's missing a few songs that they would've been playing with Career Ops and the Call Up (and White man and Wrong Em Boyo maybe being subbed out for Bankrobber and Police and Thieves). Seeing Julie's in the 3rd encore is definitely a change, which is why I'm thinking it might not be what was played that night. It's such a shame there's nothing from the whole Sydney residency, and only one show from that whole Australia leg of the tour.
We never seem to get people from Oz or NZ on forums in general IMO. Given that they are English speaking as well.Would be nice if they could join in. They do have the internet over there don't they.
101 might disagree.

If you know a better way of allowing me to watch The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension in the comfort of my own home, I'd like to hear it.

I can't make out that last one, it's either an alt title or a song we've never heard? "Death is Not Porn" is certainly an interesting title, I'm glad they went with "Death is a Star" instead. I'm assuming it's a late tracklist for Rat Patrol considering STH is on there, interesting that they had decided against putting "Idle in Kangaroo Court" and "Fulham Connection" on there, but I'm guessing this is a tracklist before the final confirmed one Mick had?

Let's try a game.

A musical artist who was recording prior to 1975 now has a Clash song in their catalogue. It can come from any point in their career, you just got to explain how it sounds. It can be fitting or incongruous, whatever you like. We'll go in order of release, just songs that found their way to vinyl in the band's career. Clear as mud? I'll kick off with the first track from the UK eponymous record. Try not to repeat an artist who's already appeared in the game.

Janie Jones - Everly Brothers. Tight harmonies, acoustic guitars elegantly strummed in the Wake Up Little Suzie mould, slower than the original.

Now someone picks up with Remote Control, and someone else gets a Pre-Punk artist for the next track and so on.

Buddy Holly with Remote Control. He could do the staccato well.

There was an extensive article about the Australian gigs in a musical paper at the time, I'm fairly certain it was the NME, although it could have been Melody Maker and I doubt Sounds would have written it at that time, with Record Mirror being too lightweight. As I remember it, the article was like an extended gig review, mentioning an Aboriginal rights activist delivering a speech during 'Armagideon Time' during one of the encores. If anyone has that article, they might be able to piece together a setlist of sorts. And if they could scan it... I'd love to refresh my memory.
