I like to think this place will always exist, as one of the fundamental forces: gravity, electromagnetic, weak nuclear, strong nuclear, IMCT. It may even be the missing piece to the unified field theory.Flex wrote: ↑01 Feb 2023, 7:12pmIt's amazing that whenever this place finally goes tits up we'll not only lose our decades and decades of discussions bit an entire micro-cultural moment and memories will be lost forever (like, what does "news" mean af even documentation that it ever existed). I've been shutting down most of my internet presences in places (like, blogs and social media and stuff) over the last year and it struck me how many decades of myself I've poured into shit thats just been wiped out with the click of a button. I've been reflecting on how, despite warnings of everything living on the internet forever, practically speaking for most people shit is actually really, really impermanent. Wipe out an online profile and you'll be almost instantly forgotten, if people ever paid you any attention at all. So, not that different from real life, I guess.

I was just browsing through my live Clash shows and realized Marky Dread put a copy of this in his remaster for this particular show.

I’ve got a decent collection of Clash memorabilia, but man, what a holy grail centerpiece a handwritten setlist like this would be. I wonder what all the little symbols on the left side mean?

I wondered the same thing. The circles are songs where Joe is not the lead vocalist.

If you look closely at the red writing top right you'll notice the date is actually wrong and then check my remaster again and see that I've corrected it.

Yes, and funny as it is, no, Judas did not betray Jesus for a copy of Lewisham. Like, c'mon, it hadn't even happened yet!

I saw that the set list included in your version had been renamed to reflect a date correction, but I'd still love to own this piece of history!Marky Dread wrote: ↑10 Feb 2023, 1:56amIf you look closely at the red writing top right you'll notice the date is actually wrong and then check my remaster again and see that I've corrected it.
