Well I remixed the tracks as well as the speed adjustment. I think everything on CtC was back speeded. Joe sounds more natural and the songs get a little bit of breathing space.gkbill wrote: ↑29 Feb 2020, 4:31pmHello Marky,Marky Dread wrote: ↑29 Feb 2020, 4:06pmHopefully this will work.gkbill wrote: ↑29 Feb 2020, 1:59pmHello,Marky Dread wrote: ↑29 Feb 2020, 11:15amSeriously mate I'm telling you the whole thing is sped up. Three Card Trick sounds awesome at the correct speed and Joe's vocals are some of his best ever.
Marry, I always appreciate your postings and realize it take a ton of time .... but could you post a couple of tracks at the correct speed?

Thanks! Although it's only a few seconds added to each song, I can hear/feel a difference in Are You Red..Y and Three Card Trick (not as much in North & South). Joe doesn't sound as frantic (frantic in a bad way). The guitars in the beginning of Are You Red...Y are a bit different as well.

Am I going mad or was there a youtuber who put up a load of LC tracks with vocals/bass/guitar/drums isolated? Can't seem to find them.

Yeah I have all of the LC stems. So I'm sure they are on YT.

Thanks for the upload Marky. You're correct, this sounds much more natural pitch-wise.

I'm reworking the whole album b-sides etc (again). I'll get it posted up when finished.

Per usual, thanks for going above and beyond. Can’t wait to hear the results.Marky Dread wrote: ↑01 Mar 2020, 5:16pmI'm reworking the whole album b-sides etc (again). I'll get it posted up when finished.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

This is pretty cool, I didn't even know this early footage was available outside of short cuts in Westway and other docs:

I think this is a fan edit but it's really well done and I don't think I've seen it before...

Nice one. I think it's actually better than the official vid.
