Not to get all serious, but I'm genuinely a little confused by this. It was funny, and a well-deserved poke after some pretty backwards comments.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

I've just realised I didn't know what shade-throwing meant, it must be an American phrase? I've looked it up and realised I got the wrong end of the stick.

I like early Oasis but even I think Wonderwall is an awful song.

I wonder who they canvassed? I couldn't be bothered to read but there are some glaring omissions and an insane Oasis bias. "Slide Away" doesn't strike me as a top ten song of anything.Marky Dread wrote: ↑04 Apr 2018, 3:35pmNo Sex Pistols in the entire 100....bullshit two bob list!oliver wrote: ↑04 Apr 2018, 12:04pmTop 100 British songs of all time http://charts.radiox.co.uk/2018/

I like Oasis and Wonderwall. But it's vastly overrated and over played.

They have a big young fanbase over here. My bandmate is a teacher and tells me loads of the young lads like Oasis. He actively leads them toward the Clash and the Jam and has had a few success stories.Kory wrote: ↑04 Apr 2018, 3:50pmMarky Dread wrote: ↑04 Apr 2018, 3:44pmPeople under 35 like Oasis? Is that kind of thing common for the UK? In the States, once a band has been around for like 7 years, they are dad rock.Heston wrote: ↑04 Apr 2018, 3:56pmThey have a big young fanbase over here. I think the retro scene is quite healthy over here, for better or worse.Kory wrote: ↑04 Apr 2018, 4:02pmIs that kind of thing common for the UK? I suppose that's better than forgetting the past, even if it means we're reminded of some of the dreck as well.Heston wrote: ↑04 Apr 2018, 4:07pmI think the retro scene is quite healthy over here, for better or worse.Kory wrote: ↑04 Apr 2018, 4:02pmIs that kind of thing common for the UK?
