thanks for the setlists laxman

disc 1 looks to be the boston tapes cd and lp that surfaced last year.
disc 2 is the radio broadcast cdr from sept. 8, 1982.

No worries. I haven't got it, by the way, I just googled The Boston Tapes and got the listings from a Japanese website. I didn't post the rest of the info because the google translation wasn't the greatest!

But the fm broadcast is only 13 tracks according to BMC FM source - some clipping - Sound 4 - 53min -
unknown gen? - tracks 13

Or?
Yes, it could be a new source. I thought the track list of disc 2 matched my sept. 8, 1982 cdr. I'll check it again tonight.
My sept. 8, 1982 boston cdr has 16 tracks. It's missing Bankrobber, so the one on ebay is a new source and possibly remastered.

Is this a new source or any different to the Megalist version?
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Good to know. So I should replace the Mlist version with this?
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I've stuck it on my phone for tomorrow, I'll do a contrast and compare and report my personal findings.

Yes, Thanks Sandinistarr for the upload. Disc 2, the fm broadcast is a nice upgrade.
BTW...Stay Free on this has always been my favorite live version from 1982. It has a pretty cool extended intro.

Had a quick listen.

Cdr1 as it may be is previously circulated 13 tracks from the 8th. Probably not better. The four other tracks following are what is commonly referred to as the Sony Listening Tape but minus 1 of the 5 tracks, missing Radio Clash. However it is a clear sound upgrade.

Cdr2 (JP?) is the 13 track compilation but in fantastic quality. I have had the LP in slightly lesser quality (due to vinyl?) which is minus London Calling, previously. This new source is an improvement and possibly at 13 tracks complete? Janie Jones comes from the 7th. Not worked out the rest.
