Cut the Crap is the best album. Bernie Rhodes is a true musical visionary. Don't argue.

sometimes things don't reach fruition until years later, snc.
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

I've studied the phenomenon of neo-provincialism in self-isolating online communities but this place takes the fucking cake.

matedog wrote:Apparently it has some killer lyrics (never my thing), but as I have stated here on numerous occasions, I find the arrangements to be very uninspired, dragging the album as a whole, down. That and I had already played the hell out of SEH, TG, and ECW before ever owning the album and what I was left with wasn't much.
I also love stay free. it's a beautiful song to me. my beef with GEER is not the arrangements., but rather that overproduced feel. it just doesn't sit right. last gang in town has its moments as well.

GEERS got some strongs songs
And some really lame ones....

This is a solid album trought

But again why the Clash pass trought the years it's not so because they were (or not) a solid rock band, i think it's because they were musically ambitious, and Joe was clearly a voice of a generation.

GEERS in my opinion not reflect enought this point of view
