It's nice to see CK is back, with a new screen name.
The Former Mr. G. Poet has made that assertion on many occasions.
Backed by 101 on every occassion. Every second is perfect and the cover art is equal to its greatness.

Anybody who says London Calling is better than S/T US makes me sad. Complete Control and White Man in Hammersmith Palais alone are better than the entirety of London Calling.

Those are technically A-sides. I think Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane is a hell of a lot better than Sgt. Pepper, but I doubt I would have a leg to stand on about which was a better "album."

Same here. My only real problem with GEER is that it's too damn short.

DPW said "S/T US." Your UK/US trickery won't work here!

Bang on Esmark!

But where the fuck is CTC, is it not even deserving of last place?
Nah..... in my book it ain't a Clash album... it's Joe with some guys playing Clash tunes live on tour.... and oh Simmo on bass of course... But without Mick and Topper (/Terry)... I would rather rank CtC amonst Joe's solo albums... and it'll probably deserve the last place there, despite it having some real cool demos following it, and a couple of ok songs on the album.

Both amongst the best Clash tunes ever, but as an album.... LC beats the crap outta the rest.

never owned a copy, never will. it was a decision i made when the album first came out not to encourage them to make more
nonsense but i will concede that safe/stay free would have made a good single.

I prefer home-made Clash compilations nowadays.

Trying to choose a favorite Clash album does nothing but give me a headache.

looks like your plan failed.

I've studied the phenomenon of neo-provincialism in self-isolating online communities but this place takes the fucking cake.
