Police On My Back was pretty good.
It's a shame one of those great Terry gigs like Troy or Kent State wasn't pro-recorded.

Wow, no kidding.matedog wrote: ↑30 Sep 2022, 3:18pm14 years later, Flex remains correct.Flex wrote: ↑02 Aug 2008, 2:33amMaybe I'll have a change of heart, but right now I'm swearing this new release off. Fuck it, I'm not gonna pay money for shit like this. Does anyone really believe that if a lot of people actually bought this cd (which they won't) then we'd start seeing real, meaningful archival releases? That will never, ever happen.
I suppose If they hadn't recorded an abridged greatest hits set on a Who tour we wouldn't have even gotten one archival live release. I still enjoy Shea on occasion despite it all.

Out of all the mands I banded, I bantered by struts the most.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

Re: Shea Stadium CD
Well it's only taken 14 fucking years but I finally got a copy of the LP version...can't believe it was released in 2008 it's been on my "remember to pick up a copy" list since then! Assumed I'd find one easy but I got a nice copy off eBay for £14! So not bad....anyway it's not what I would have released but I enjoyed it, the quality is wicked and while the set could have been better, it will get spun again definitely. 14 fucking years to listen to this!
Also anyone know if the first night was recorded? Has it been bootlegged?
