Favourite little moments in Clash songs
That stab on the organ after the "2000 Flushes" sample in Inoculated City.

The way "Vodka fume" fits in with the rest of the lyrics to "The Leader" to make one think about The Profumo Affair without having to mention it explicitly.

The few seconds after the acoustic intro to 'Capital Radio Two' where everything goes completely noise crazy. The band pull back some just after that, as though they felt they'd gone a bit too wild.

Mick's accoustic guitar solo on Groovy Times.

I will admit...there have been times when I've listened to "Crooked Beat" on a good stereo that I've literally ducked when the giant pterodactyl comes flying through the speaker after Mikey's little toast.

I'll go for the obvious...when Joe says "don't push us when we're hot!" in AT. I also pretty much love any time when Joe's voice cracks. So, ever song where he sings lead, I guess.
Also, in the final part of SEH when Mick joins in..."explosive, European home..."

Mick's guitar bends and solos towards the end of Revolution Rock. And "the organ play! And they're dancing to the brand new beat!"

I quite agree with this one - it comes in second to the cymbal crash that explodes the opening of Safe European Home - although perhaps you can't call that a "little moment"...

The *ding* at the beginning of "Koka Kola" is nice. Too bad it got ruined on the 1999 remastered version of LC.
Re: Favourite little moments in Clash songs
I love that last verse of Jimmy Jazz where Topper is playing a fill for the entire verse. I didn't even notice that until a few years ago.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
