It really was.
That's what BR said.
I would never say that...oh...
....sorry didn't mean you, BR in my post was to indicate Bernie Rhodes.
Yeah, that was the "joke"...sari about that...

What does that translate into in terms of uses? Does everyone get, say, ten? And do they get replenished once in awhile or is it a one time only deal? This is important because I don't want to go on the record as agreeing with him if I've only got a finite number of get out of Hoy jail cards.
Naw. It's just an average over time. If he's right at a higher rate, it just means that later he'll be even more astoundingly wrong than usual.
Eumaas is at 5%. In fact I don't remember what we agreed on. Maybe Debaser
Gutter is at 30%. We have Rock and Roll High School, anti-saves, boobs, and Debaser.
Flex is a solid 40-50%. We have Bruce.

Hooks, I think you are at a Eumaasian level.
What is anti-save?

I feel like these percentages have probably increased. Crazy to think I had known y'all two years at that point and 15 years since.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Was I considered particularly pro-Bruce at that point?

If you were considered at all.

Given that I've given Hoy my proxy vote on most Clash questions, I'm way higher than 5%. Plus he can do musician-speak, so letting him talk for me makes me seem less than a dunce.

I'm counting on you to pull the plug. I don't need someone who even vaguely likes me in charge of that stuff.

Don't wimp out when the time comes. If you want to yell out, "I consign your soul to hell!" I'm good with that.

It was 2008 and you may have been not negative about Bruce and I took that as being “pro-Bruce.” In fairness to you, “Working on a Dream” had not yet come out.

The Cut the Crap cougar bar changed EVERYTHING.
