Yeah, but Wolter's right about evaluating performances. Aesthetic distance is a part of training as an artist--gotta be able to step back and look at things analytically.
No one is saying Terry's drumming was flawless but with Terry The Clash were still brilliant live so why the vitriol ??.
No vitriol, Pops. If you think I have vitriol towards Terry (or even ill will), you should see me talking about Fred Phelps or Michelle Malkin or A.J. Pierzinski. I could probably etch glass if we grading vitriol on a curve.

I never mentioned names but certainly there has been plenty of anti Terry statements.

Yeah, but most have been relatively lighthearted.

I certainly wouldn't let Terry let me fuck his daughter's best friend.

Probably not. We are always subtler than we're given credit for.

As proof that your humour is subtle? Deflect somewhere else, Melvin Belvin.

I never said I had to prove anything to you.

Cherry picking out of hundreds of hours of mainstream entertainment is easy. And it misses the point of my statement entirely.

Whilst I wish to stay neutral in this debate that was pretty funny.

Hey guys.

1. Terry whatever. I'd kill to see the Clash w/Terry. That being said, I wouldn't put a Terry show anywhere near my top 10 shows. St. Paul is the go to Terry show and I should give it a relisten. His abilities limit the heights that they could reach musically.

2. I don't refer to sex with the matedizzle as "matedoggin". However, I do refer to my penis as "the matedong."
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
