me again wrote:Independent release from UK artist Jimmie Bone, 'Queen Of The Summer',is beautiful tale of summer and lost youth, featuring the unmistakable groove of legendary Clash drummer Topper Headon, on one of his first studio recordings for many years
This is great news!
BTW, what was Terry's last studio recording before he switched to spinal discs? I believe it was the Bay City Rollers album circa 1993. Everyone should have that along with the Cherry Bombz EPs and the Black Sabbath's Eternal Idol live in Poland bootleg.

This is awesome! I just wish it didn't cost anything to download the song.

Sounds like an old Seals & Crofts song.

The song doesn't really do anything for me, but more power to Topper.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Hey, I have toned it down a lot since high school. The amount of air drumming has also decreased significantly.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Well it's a typical Top drumming
Clear, in loop, and "very" on the cymbal

Man, that song is dire.

Nice to see Topper's back in action, though!

Joey Baron has good claim to the living title...
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

"I think not," said Descartes, and he vanished.
