Thanks mate, it's a much better album than it gets credited for.appleseed wrote:Thank you for sharing your mix! I'm just now getting another chance to listen to it more thoroughly. Woah. Really? Very cool. I probably saw that for the first time not long after I would've heard TUV88 for the first time. That's a good excuse to re-watch that. Thanks!Marky Dread wrote:I think it's from the movie "What's New Pussycat" (1965).appleseed wrote:I'm listening to the remix of of Hip, Neck & Thigh and happened to wonder where the "God, I love it when you're domineering" sample came from. I'm taken aback at its lowly position in the hearts of Clash/Mick fans. It's an album just bursting with pop hooks.Marky Dread wrote:Thanks mate, it's a much better album than it gets credited for.appleseed wrote:Thank you for sharing your mix! There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I'm working through all the albums on my commute. Up to F Punk now. The quality tails off but I still like the later albums. Tighten Up is right up there for me. Mr Walker Said got a few repeat plays!Heston wrote:I'm taken aback at its lowly position in the hearts of Clash/Mick fans. I'll upload it and send you a PM when it's ready. It should be two to three hours. I don't have the fastest connection.gkbill wrote:Hello,

Re: Tighten Up Vol. 88 Remixed
Hi
Any chance anyone can post on the thread or pm a link to this album.
I did have a copy but thought I would give it a listen but cannot locate it - suspect I may have lost it when organising my digital music a few months ago.
Many thanks, Paul
