Going stir crazy in the studio. Their studio was flooded during the making of the album which is referenced in the lyrics.

This will be me starting tomorrow.

I haven't been in a "proper" studio for a few years now. I hate that clock ticking against your creativity. And you're usually worn down within about four hours after the initial excitement.

Are you not supposed to have written and rehearsed everything before hand. Then go in and record what you have. Writing in the studio always seems a waste of money to me.

Yeah, but creative decisions apply to production as well. There's always people tampering with different sounds, reverbs etc. Arguing whats the best take. All kinds of stuff. Then you have to record the ants gnawing through the wood of the studio door...
