Point taken, but All Saints is still miles ahead of Free, JPM and Holiday.
Hard disagree.
I think I judge All Saints harshly because it fails in a way that I desperately want it to succeed. BE BETTER, Damn it.

I think the production is poor but otherwise it's a great song. The live version from Bradford is a bit more like how it should have sounded to my ears.

Crikey! What on earth has been going on?

I fear this kind of democracy is quite seriously flawed.
What exactly is the problem? The survivor poll is a cut throat business, only the strongest survive.
If you accept it as a conversation delivery system, it gets you a chance to talk about each BAD song in turn, as opposed to always talking about the same ten songs that would come up in a top 5 format

Also, and I will only ever say this in this context, if you didn't vote, you can't complain.

What's getting me is that Holiday only has one vote and All Saints has 6. The former is still a good song but come on...

Clearly the strongest don't survive! How the hell is Free stronger than Sightsee or E=MC2?

Because each album is taken in turn and the best from each album goes through to the final, which is where we are at now.

So why only one song from first album?

Which album was Free on?

Only one song goes through from each album unless there is a draw in the last head to head, then both go through, which happened with V13 and Beyond the Pale. 'Free' was on the odds and sods round up after the albums had been done. Because of the poll option limit, Tighten Up and Megatop had to be split into sides, hence the reason three songs are through from Tighten Up.
