Great job BB, this is how it should have been mixed in the first place. All the levels seem correct now.

And that god damn synth has been turned down, thank Christ!
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Was that synth even required in the first place. It's a really solid song and the synth adds little too the melody for me.

When this album came out Mick had some sort of back to basic speech and in a way most of tighten up tracks were surely compose on a guitar and especially walker but damn at the end the production was in total opposite... and yes the synth is predominant in the original mix.
and because of that the sound of the synth took too much space in the mix

Just had another proper listen through the speakers rather than headphones and this really is excellent work. Aside from the improved instrument and vocal balance, those drums totally liven the song. The awful drum sounds are my biggest issue with an album I love. Please say you will eventually remix the full album mate. Would make a lovely companion piece to Marky's excellent remaster. :approve:
