Thanks for this Marky, just downloading now. I really like including all of the post-original-BAD together. A spottier era, but some of the deeper cuts are more rewarding to revisit on comps like this. Can't wait to hear how the F-Punk tracks turn out with your touch.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Sorry? What on earth for? It's all good fun mate. I'm just putting these together to alleviate the boredom of lockdown.
I'm working on a Megatop remaster now.
If you can turn me around on it, I will be eternally grateful. I want to like it more than I do.
I don't know if a remaster will turn it around for you. I mean it might make you listen to it more often. But for me it simply wasn't as immediate as their other albums due to the daisy age style. But after repeated listens I respect it a lot and think it's solid.

I remixed all the tracks but the F-Punk were the most difficult. They were originally mixed live and not mixed with the drums and vocal central in the mix. They are now in the middle of the mix and "I Turned Out A Punk" hits like a punk song.

Got this in the lab tonight mate, I'm digging in for the long haul. Sounds bloody great so far, loving some of the shorter edits and it's flowing brilliantly. Top work my man.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board
"BAD and the Night Time Ride" is fucking joyous! The most underrated song of the latter BAD era. And I'm loving the intro.
Cheers mate, always great to get some feedback. I'm never sure if it's meant to be called "BAD in the Night Time Ride" which is what they sing but it gets listed as "in the" and "and the".
I like that big Motown drum sound on it.

Yep, not sure myself.
Yeah love that big drum sound and the little steal from "Son of My Father" is great.

The Giorgio Moroder version is immense. Shame it's the Chicory Tip version that everyone remembers.

On the version of the album Mick mixed at Whitfield St, his writing says “& the”. On the final version done shortly thereafter, the studio has typed “in the”. So no help there I guess!

Yeah I checked those two sources. So I just left it as "& the" if it's good enough for Mick then it's good enough.
