Big Audio Dynamite Samples

Post by Heston »

This isn't comprehensive but I've put together a playlist of a lot of the samples used by BAD. Go to the newest comment for the time of the sample.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I love those quotes! Thanks for sharing that Heston.

Yes, I've had a couple of days off work and there's not much else to do.

I've always wanted to put them in one handy place. Time stamping them was a bit of a pain in the arse but it's easier than people wading through a full movie for a three second sample. ;)

Funnily enough, this film was on TV the other night and the intro narration will ring a few bells...

Haven't seen that film for years but I always remember that some of the exterior stuff was filmed in Hanwell/West Ealing where I grew up.

Maybe you're familiar with reelstreets.com . I love it, it's a fantastic resource of then-and-now shots of movie locations

I wasn't, but thank you!

Shirley Gardens is the one. I used to cycle by all the time on my way to a record shop (Lullaby of Broadway) at Chignell Place and always think of that film. It was quite a thrill to recognize it at the time.

Ha! I think I asked about this movie here before, but admittedly wasn't very specific in my description, so it didn't garner any reply.
